Private Events / Rentals

Can I rent The Vanguard for a private event?
Yes. The Vanguard is available for private events, corporate functions, and special productions. Please submit a request through the Rental tab on our website or email info@thevanguard.live for more information.

ADA

The Vanguard is ADA accessible. For ADA or medical accommodations, please contact info@thevanguard.live at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Valid Forms of ID

A valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry.

Accepted IDs include:
Driver’s license
State ID
Passport

Photocopies or student IDs are not accepted. IDs must be current and unexpired.

Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to purchase alcohol.

Age Policy

Age restrictions vary by event. Please check the individual event listing for specific age requirements.

Doors & Show Times

Door times vary by event and do not always open at 10 PM. Please check the event listing for the correct door time and schedule.

QR Codes

QR codes are usually sent the day before the event. Delivery times may vary. If you have not received your QR code by the day of the event, please contact our team.

Box Office

Tickets may be purchased at the box office on the night of the show until capacity is reached.

Refunds

All tickets are non-refundable.

Resale

The venue is not responsible for issues with third-party sellers.

All original tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite on our website for guaranteed entry.

VIP Ticket Upgrade

You can transfer your ticket type for the difference in price by following the steps in the link below. Please note this can only be done using a web browser, not the Eventbrite mobile app. VIP upgrades may also be available at the door.

Re-Entry Policy

Re-entry is not permitted once you exit the venue.

Bags

Small bags are permitted and subject to inspection upon entry.

Hydration packs are only allowed if empty and without a bladder. All bags are subject to search.

Cameras

Professional cameras, detachable lenses, flash photography, and videography are not permitted without prior approval.

Lockers & Coat Check

Some events may offer lockers or coat check services. Availability varies by event.

Lost & Found

Items found during events are held by the venue team. Please submit a request through the contact form on our website or email info@thevanguard.live.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted inside the venue:
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal substances
  • Masks other than approved PPE
  • Costumes resembling police, fire, security, or medical personnel
  • Full-face makeup preventing ID verification
  • Pepper spray or weapons of any kind
  • Sharp metal spikes
  • Violent props (whips, ropes, chains, etc.)
  • Backpacks, duffle bags, or oversized purses
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles
  • Large umbrellas (small personal umbrellas allowed)
  • Pets
  • Toys or stuffed animals
  • Selfie sticks
  • Laser pointers or flashlights
  • Tablets or laptops
  • Professional camera equipment
  • GoPros
  • Audio or video recording equipment (excluding phones)
  • Drones or hover cameras
  • Totems, hula-hoops, or poi
  • CBD, THC, or cylindrical tobacco cartridges
  • Unauthorized vending or merchandise sales
Security reserves the right to refuse entry to any item deemed unsafe.

Prescription Medication Policy

Prescription medication must be in its original container and match the guest’s ID.

Dress Code

There is no strict dress code. Guests should wear appropriate nightlife attire.

Shoes, tops, and bottoms are required unless otherwise noted.

Steel-toed shoes and clothing labeled “staff” or security” are not permitted.

We are proud to be an inclusive venue and welcome guests from all backgrounds and communities. Our goal is to create a space where everyone can feel comfortable, respected, and free to enjoy the music and atmosphere together.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry if attire presents a safety concern.

Safety & Medical
