Mau P, born Maurits Westveen, has made one of the fastest and most impactful rises in dance music, establishing himself as a defining global force in the new generation of dance artists. Recognized on the Forbes Europe 30 Under 30 list for his breakout influence on the genre, Mau P’s reinvention sparked a creative renaissance that quickly positioned him as one of the most in-demand producers and DJs in the world. His breakout 2022 track “Drugs From Amsterdam” became a worldwide phenomenon, amassing nearly 262 million streams, topping charts, and dominating festival playlists while cementing his signature sound and cultural impact.

In 2026, Mau P continues his rapid ascent with his second consecutive residency at Pacha Ibiza alongside his ongoing residency at XS Las Vegas, further solidifying his position as one of dance music’s premier global headliners. This follows a defining 2025, where he headlined the iconic Sahara Tent at Coachella both weekends, debuting unreleased music to massive anticipation and delivering one of the festival’s standout dance performances. He also scored back-to-back No. 1 records with “The Less I Know the Better” topping the Billboard Dance chart and “Like I Like It” reaching No. 1 on Beatport, where it was crowned the platform’s Best-Selling Track of the Year. His high-profile collaborations with Diplo, Gunna, and Mike Dean, combined with his daring rework of Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know the Better,” showcase both his versatility and instinct for pushing dance music into new territory.

On the live front, Mau P has scaled at a rare pace. His groundbreaking multidisciplinary open-to-close concept BADDEST BEHAVIOUR debuted to sold-out crowds across New York, Miami, Denver, Los Angeles, and Brooklyn, drawing more than 25,000 fans and evolving into one of the most talked-about live concepts in dance music. Recent landmark moments include selling out more than 40,000 tickets across two nights of BADDEST BEHAVIOUR at Los Angeles State Historic Park and delivering a high-production debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Whether headlining major festivals, commanding iconic club residencies, or building immersive standalone experiences, Mau P continues to prove himself as an artist capable of shaping both culture and the future of dance music.

From underground breakout to global headliner in just a few years, Mau P’s rise has been defined by creative risk, cultural intuition, and undeniable momentum — and he’s only getting started.
